In only its seventh year in business, Balcones has gone on to acquire over 145 accolades and awards from respected judges, panels and competitions around the globe, cementing its position as one of the most highly regarded craft whisky distilleries in the world. Balcones Distillery has been bestowed with such titles as 2012 and 2014 Craft Whiskey Distillery of the Year by Whisky Magazine's Icons of Whisky, 2012 Global Whisky Distillery of the Year by Wizards of Whisky, and 2013 Texas Whisky Distillery of the Year by the New York International Spirits Competition.
