Brooklyn, NY
Franky is a New York City hospitality industry veteran. Having worked as a Bartender and in various other front-of-house positions at establishments across the spectrum has given her a great deal of experience to draw on. She was introduced to this rarefied cocktail world when she became part of the opening staff of the highly acclaimed Clover Club. She then went onto work at the historic Monkey Bar, the revamped Holiday Cocktail Lounge, and was part of the opening team at the multi-award winning Dead Rabbit. In December 2015 she became the Beverage Director at Le Boudoir in Brooklyn, but can still be found doing events in New York and around the globe.

A three-time Apprentice at Tales of the Cocktail, a recipient of a Cocktail Apprentice Scholarship, franky was one of Beverage Media's "Top 10 Mixologists to Watch 2009". She has been a Presenter and Moderator at many a bar show including: Tales of the Cocktail, The Prague Bar Show, The Paris Cocktail Festival, Invasion Cocktail, Portland Cocktail Week, and Golden State of Cocktails. She became a BNIC Certified Cognac Educator in 2014, is a graduate of Bar Smarts, and holds a Certificate with Distinction from the Wine and Spirits Education Trust. She completed an all too brief stage at the renowned 69 Colebrooke Row which, along with being a thought provoking learning experience, afforded her great insights into the London bar scene. As the former Vice-President of the United States Bartender's Guild of New York, she made her impact felt with her focus on member education, and by creating the "Talk With a Pro" Interview Series.

No stranger to competitions, in 2015 she was a winner of Bulldog Gin's Modern Gin & Tonic contest and was named one of the Grand Marnier Grand Masters for New York. In 2013 she was a US Finalist for Diageo World Class, was a winner of the Monkey Shoulder "Put Your Monkey in a Box", and took first place in the Avèze Day Drinking competition. 2012 saw her crowned overall winner of Liquor.com/Plymouth Gin's Classic Cocktail Challenge and the Tales of the Cocktail Cognac Competition, as well as being first runner-up in the G'Vine Gin Connoisseur Program (Le GCP) and the Louis Royer "Show Me The Proof" Cognac battle. In 2011 she was a finalist for Vinos de Jerez and St. Germain Can-Can Classic.

In 2014, she made the list of "Top 10 Female Bartenders" in The Drinks Business magazine. Sought after for her opinions as well as her cocktails, she has been featured in articles and publications including AskMen, Cosmopolitan, Diageo Bar Academy, Food & Wine, Gothamist, Imbibe, Maxim, New York Magazine, Paper, San Francisco Chronicle, Spirits Business, Star Chefs, The Daily Beast, The New York Times, Vanity Fair, and the Wall Street Journal, to name a few.

Franky, a former music major, is also an avid traveler and unrepentant gourmande. She has studied French in France, Spanish in Spain, and feels very fortunate to have sipped raki in Turkey; considered crus in Cognac; raved about rum in Havana; assessed Bodegas in Argentina; mulled over mint tea in Marrakech; pondered Pisco in Peru; banged on bongos in Brazil; sought out Scotch in Scotland; cocktail crawled on the continent; and of course, to have eaten many great meals along the way. She knows that learning never stops, and is always looking forward to her next adventure and to finding inspiration wherever she goes.
