Though he now lives in San Francisco, Josh was born and raised on the freeways of Los Angeles. Having lived in Lake Tahoe and San Diego, he considers himself a true Californian and a bridge of the north-south chasm.

Introduced to scotch through his father, an avid fan of The Glenlivet, Josh rediscovered his love for the water of life during business school, and fate would put him in the right place at the right time. He worked in corporate social responsibility and business management, and while in between corporate jobs he discovered a part-time opportunity with The Glenlivet, which opened his eyes to the depths of discovery this beautiful spirit has to offer. As he says, "something just clicked. I got it. Whisky made sense." Unsurprisingly this career has been a lot more enjoyable and rewarding than his other path of cubicles and fluorescent lights. Josh is a graduate of University of Wisconsin with a Journalism degree and has a MBA in Sustainable Management from Presidio Graduate School in San Francisco.
