Father Bill Dailey

Rev. William R. Dailey, C.S.C., is a member of the Congregation of Holy Cross and serves at Notre Dame Law School as a Lecturer in Law. Fr. Bill earned his B.A. in Philosophy summa cum laude from the University of Notre Dame and attended Columbia Law School, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. He served as a law clerk to Judge Diarmuid F. O’Scannlain of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and then practiced law in Washington, D.C. with Wiley Rein LLP. He was ordained a priest in 2001, and has served happily as such in Portland, OR, New York, NY, Washington, D.C., and now South Bend, IN, working variously as a campus minister, instructor in philosophy, lawyer, law professor, and Chaplain to the DC Craft Cocktail Bartenders Guild. Fr. Bill first appeared as a panelist at Tales in 2012 and he joined the the Cocktail Apprentice Program team in 2013.
