Douglas Bedford

Douglas Bedford started bartending in a high volume dive bar, Lion’s Pub (San Francisco, CA). Where he learned the importance of creating the proper bar environment for customer's enjoyment.

From there Douglas moved on to restaurants bars to get into craft cocktails and hospitality. His career started to take stride when he began bartending at Flora (Oakland, CA) which was being managed by Kim Rosselle (Trick Dog) at the time.

Most recently, he is one of the original bartenders, and now bar manager, of Ali Tahsini ’s (Cap Alum) The Double Standard Bar (Oakland, CA).

Douglas also likes competing in bar competitions, most recently, World Class 2016, as one of the west coast regional finalist.

He loves the community aspect of the cocktail world and the educational and professional opportunities. And is rapidly developing the Tiki Fever!
