Japan Sake and Shochu Makers Assoication is showcasing 7 authentic Shochu and 1 Awamori that are the most traditional and the national alcohol beverages of Japan along with Sake. With written records dating back to the 1500s, Shochu and Awamori are a Japanese distilled spirit that outsells Sake in present-day in Japan. There are various ingredients used for Shochu, and various ways to be enjoyed, with hot water or on the rocks. Its unique flavor can be arranged very interestingly for the cocktails.
