WILD HIBISCUS FLOWER CO and Jocelyn Etherington (Co-owner / Director) from Australia will be returning to TOTC to demonstrate the versatility of their product range in beautifully crafted cocktails designed by their talented mixologist and bartender team, Anthony DeSerio (Award winning bartender/consultant and former president/current member USBG CT chapter) and Igor Zukowiec (Founder of ALCHEMIQ cocktails • hors d'oeuvres • events). This year, we are joining forces with GUBBA RUM (www.gubbarum.com
) and owner, Steve Gubb from MA and using both their exceptionally smooth organic rums in our feature cocktails. Gubba Silver is infused with real coconut and Gubba Gold is infused with real vanilla. Both are pure cane spirits. The flavor profiles and the all natural ingredients pair very well with Wild Hibiscus products.
We will be featuring none other than our original ruby-red Wild Hibiscus Flowers in Syrup as well as our latest innovative Flower Extracts, including b’Lure (www.b-Lure.com
). b’Lure is our all-natural blue color syrup – highly concentrated with the pigment we extract from the exotic butterfly pea flower. When citrus is added it magically changes from bright blue to a divine purple or pink – offering a little extra theatre for cocktails with many possibilities including molecular mixology, foams, bright blue ice that melts into purple and two-part cocktails combined during presentation for a fun color change before drinking.
