Tales of the Cocktail® New Orleans 2016

Maison Ferrand, producer of Plantation Rum, has been known to introduce new spirits at Tales to their most important audience – the bartenders. And, we’re happy to say, this year will be no different! 



From the company that brought you the beloved Plantation Pineapple Stiggins’ Fancy Rum (introduced at Tales in 2014), this year you will be amongst the first in the country to taste a rum that has been born of a crazy plan and a secret meeting at Arnaud’s during last year’s Tales. Alexandre Gabriel, Maison Ferrand’s fearless leader, scoured rum-joints around the world to find six grizzled old salts who knew which end of a rum-bottle was which. Together they came up with this new Plantation rum that is, well, going to knock your socks off.

We aren’t ready at this writing to disclose the exact name of the rum or the six grizzled old salts that had a hand in creating it, but trust us, you all know who they are. They just happen to be sworn to secrecy for a little while longer. And don’t worry, all will be revealed before Tales kicks off.
