From retrofits to new builds, Intelligent Design will cover the step by step process of designing the best cocktail bar equipment for your needs. Selecting and arranging the correct bar equipment is crucial to execute the caliber of bar you desire at the volume you expect. Unfortunately bar design is often an afterthought of both designers and operators. An error that needs to be corrected with a proactive approach towards the expectations of the bar. Our panel of experts will teach you how to analyze the needs of your bar and then select the best stainless option available. In existing bars we will share opportunities to improve your design and equipment on a budget. In new builds we will cover the option to buy prefabricated equipment or build a custom designed bar where the sky's the limit.  Francesco LaFranconi is the Head Mixologist for Southern Wine and Spirits. Not only has he been behind hundreds of bars but has also designed a state of the art custom cocktail station. Tobin Ellis owner of Bar Magic, a beverage consultancy specializing in menu development, training and bar design. He has his own signature line of cocktail minded bar equipment with Perlick, a leader in stainless manufacturing. Joaquin Simo is a proprietor and bartender of Pouring Ribbons in New York, a high volume cocktail bar designed to utilize their tight space extremely efficiently.
