Integrating Craft Beer into your Cocktail Program

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

What beers should be on your menu? How do you appeal to beer geeks and regular guests alike? Which beers do you need for mixology? How do we offer boilermaker combinations that aren't just hipster irony-bingo? What are the logistics of a beer program, anyway? Drinks menus in 2016 have to offer guest appeal, be media-friendly and deliver bottom-line profits, and the answer is BEER! (Well, craft beer, anyway).  Cocktailian consumers are increasingly beer-savvy, and craft beer offers the quality your guests love, profitability to rival your liquor & cocktail program and a  far, far faster speed of service. Join Elayne Duff, AB-InBev's craft beer division Global Event Manager (and former James Beard-nominated mixologist) as she moderates a discussion of best practices from Jackson Cannon (Boston's Eastern Standard and Island Creek Oyster Bar), Michael Shain (New York's Porchlight, a Danny Meyer cocktail bar) and Rich Higgins (master cicerone, brewmaster, beer consultant and certified sommelier). Craft beer is the new craft liquor!
