Nina works with students of all ages to help them gain a deeper understanding of body awareness through the tools of yoga. She focuses on the quality of the breath, proper spinal alignment, fluid movement, and mindfulness. She believes yoga can heal the body and help develop inner peace.Nina graduated from the Yoga School of Covington – A Louisiana State licensed Yoga facility. She has taught yoga for many years at multiple facilities across New Orleans and the Northshore.Nina decided to share the gift of yoga through teaching following losses arising from Hurricane Katrina. For the past 10 years, Nina has taught and continues to teach Yoga at Franco’s Athletic Club in Mandeville, LA. Since June 2009, Nina has also taught yoga for the Friends of the Cabildo and at her privately owned Nature Yoga Studio located on the Northshore. In addition to teaching yoga, Nina is also a realtor in the New Orleans area, serving both sides of Lake Pontchartrain.
